安装时把卷帘上部固定于檐下通气板下部，下端固定在一根直径为25毫米左右的钢管卷轴上，卷轴一端安有绕线盘9为使卷轴在工作时不停地转动和平动，绕线盘上绕有二根直径为4~5毫米的钢丝绳，其中一根绕满后拉紧固定于卷帘机的绕线盘上，另一根绕满后拉紧固定于地面上预埋环中(二根钢丝绳的续绕方向、圈数均相同，缠绕的长度应不小于鸡舍的檐高)。
